Mango Lassi Punch

Like the popular Indian drink, with boozier consequences. Deliciously downable.

Old Monk rum (a Bombay favourite) with yoghurt and spicy mango syrup – pours clear. In some legend there’s a handsome monk in the forest…

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

  1. Mix ingredients together, waiting to add the lemon juice at the very end.
  2. Rest for one hour, then strain the mixture through a paper coffee filter.
  3. If the liquid is not completely clear when first straining, pour back through the coffee filter until the drink runs clear.
  4. Bottle and keep in the fridge till ready to sip. Serve on the rocks.
