Damn good veg. dishes
Permit Room Brighton
Graze lightly or fill up on vegetarian eats: cooked breakfasts, moreish salads and crispy-crunchy savouries. Hearty Ruby Murrays, and a sweet thing (or two) to finish. Wash down with one of our seriously sippable drinks – damn good cocktails, local beers and coffee, Bombay sodas and more.
Open from 9am, every day. Come as you are.
All-day deliciousness
Find new vegetarian faves
Damn tasty vegetarian dishes. For sharing, or not. Cinnamon-spiced brioche. Saucy chickpeas. Pillowy paneer. The list goes on (and on). Nibble, share or dive in as you please.
Akuri Pau
Three eggs, scrambled creamy-slowly with tomato, onion and peppy green chilli. Served with buttered pau. All the Bombay breakfast feels.
Crispy Spinach Chaat
Hard work to make this chaat, but a holiday to eat. Crispy-fried babyleaf spinach with yoghurt, chutneys, spices, sev and fresh pomegranate. So light, so zesty, you'd eat twenty.
Jackfruit Berry Pulao
Luscious jackfruit – unexpected – with onion, tomato, jaggery and whole spices, under a heap of saffron pulao rice studded with barberries and sultanas. Could be a group thing.
Rum-Soaked Gulab Jamun (V)
A warm dark ball with pistachio pieces and inner creaminess. This modest milk-based dumpling requires a permit, as it’s soaked in Old Monk rum.
